The North Shore Communities of MKE County, Wisconsin

Includes a wide variety of housing styles from architecturally significant lake side mansions to traditional family homes, condos and homes for first time buyers to magnificent loft properties. Milwaukee’s North Shore Wisconsin communities are well known for their walk-able neighborhoods and small town friendliness…all in very close proximity to everything the city has to offer.

The Village of Shorewood, Wisconsin

covers approximately one and a half square miles and is home to over 14,000 residents, making it the most densely populated village in Wisconsin — and for good reason! Shorewood is a community that borders Lake Michigan and the Milwaukee River, boasts stunning architecture, includes various recreational activities and has a proud community feel among its residents located just minutes from Milwaukee

Shorewood is a walkable community of beautiful old houses, tree-lined streets and tight-knit neighborhoods. Most of the homes for sale in Shorewood, Wisconsin are between 90 and 100 years old, combining traditional charm with modern, updated amenities and appliances. Perhaps the most well-known residential area in Shorewood is Lake Drive, the winding street that offers priceless views of the shimmering Lake Michigan. The Village of Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin

The Village of Fox Point, Wisconsin

Located on Milwaukee County’s North Shore is this vibrant suburb with a population of 6,803 people. Lake Michigan borders the eastern part of the village allowing for many water activities. The villages of Bayside and Whitefish Bay border to the north and south. Labeled as “Tree City USA,” Fox Point is tranquil community with a magnificent landscape including wooded areas and gorgeous ravines. Close to downtown Milwaukee, Fox Point is the perfect place for those who need to commute, or enjoy visiting the metropolitan area.

The Fox Point housing market offers a wide selection, including Ranches, Colonials, English Tudors, Mediterranean style, and Cape Cods. Many homes in the area were built in the 1920s – 1950s, but newly constructed houses are also offered. The Village of Bayside, Wisconsin

The most northeastern community in Milwaukee County. High-quality living and a tranquil atmosphere are just some of the perks of being a resident of this village; located on the shores of Lake Michigan. Awarded the first “Green Community of the Year” by the Milwaukee Business Journal, Bayside prides itself on promoting an environmentally friendly village. With more than 4,100 citizens spread out over 2.3 square miles, Bayside is predominately residential and offers spectacular views and a small town environment. The village is instilled with a history that dates back to the Potawatomi Native American settlement in the 1800s. Bayside is serviced by I-43 allowing for easy travel to the area’s premier destinations. Located 15 minutes away from downtown Milwaukee, Bayside is an attractive place to settle for those who want to have easy access to the metropolitan area.

The Bayside area offers prime real estate for new home buyers to families searching for a place to settle. Established homes in the area are in distinct neighborhoods and were built in the 1950s-1970s. The area contains predominately suburban neighborhoods and subdivisions.  Condominiums and Townhouses are also popular around the village area. The average cost of a house in Bayside is $338,720.

The City of Glendale, Wisconsin

A thriving North Shore community with a country living atmosphere. The city has been immersed with commercial, residential, and industrial developments, which has added to the beauty. Populated by 13,206 people, Glendale provides the premiere lifestyle in Milwaukee County. The area offers excellent residential lots, shopping, dining, and entertainment. Businesses are currently attracted to the area because of economic incentives. The Glendale area is positioned along the Milwaukee River and the shores of Lake Michigan. With easy access to I-43, Glendale offers a prime location for residents who need to commute to the metropolitan area.

The Glendale area provides a wide selection of homes for sale. With many distinct neighborhoods, the housing market offers an assortment of styles including Ranches, Cape Cods, Colonials, and Contemporary. The Village of River Hills, Wisconsin

Incorporated in 1930, River Hills, Wisconsin is a quaint community that is nestled in the middle of the Village of Brown Deer, the City of Glendale, and the City of Milwaukee. River Hills is a place for country living bordering a big city environment. Serviced by I-43, the village is a premiere location for those who need to commute to work, or enjoy the metropolitan area of Milwaukee. The Milwaukee River borders the village. The village provides easy access to downtown Milwaukee and other metro areas. Populated by 1,646 people, River Hills is a magnificent environment to reside in.

River Hills provides a wide selection of single-family residential homes from the 1920s to newly constructed properties. Houses in the village include English Tudors, French Country, Colonials, and Georgian Revivals. Large mansions and estates are also a part of the housing scheme. Residential lots in the area range in upwards of 10 acres with an average of 5 acres.

The housing market also provides exclusive homes in the village. There are secluded houses for those who seek privacy. These homes are constructed in heavily wooded acres of land. River front properties are also for sale in the market. The average cost of a home in the village is $687,100.
